TEHERAN, IRAN - Iranian President Ahmadinejad claimed 3 times in 1 week that the Holocaust is a myth. According to the hardline President, Europeans used this myth to create a Jewish state in the heart of the Islamic world and there should not be a Jewish state in the Middle East, but either in Europe, the United States or Canada.
The Iranian President, speaking to thousands of people in Southern Iran, said that the world has created a myth called the Holocaust and they consider it to be above Allah, religion, and the prophets. Ahmadinejad said the oppressed Palestinian nation should not have to pay the price for a Jewish state; there should be a Jewish state in Europe, the United States, or even in Alaska.

Silvan Shalom made a statement in response to Ahmadinejad's inciteful words, saying Iran is "a clear and present danger" and is trying to buy time so that it can develop a nuclear bomb.
Shalom's words seem to hold true in light of Ahmadinejad saying any country attacking the Islamic Republic will face a destructive, fiery response.
